Live Action Filming Talk

In this presentation of fulldome excerpts of films in which I was involved as a director or DOP, I will show the evolution of live action through many films like Aurōrae, One Day On Mars or EXO, Jury Best Film Award at the IPS Fulldome Festival 2018, entirely shot in live action for the terrestrial sequences. I will explain how each innovation has allowed to explore new facets of the immersive 360° storytelling and how, from the early time lapses sequence to real-time live action filming, new possibilities emerged with the improvement of filming techniques such as the ability to shoot humans in real time, the creation of dynamic camera movements, the use of shot scale values with frames other than 180 °, etc. The presentation will conclude with some ongoing projects and upcoming challenges to overcome.
